Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a way of detecting, treating and preventing health problems by moving, stretching and manipulating a person's muscles and joints. At Dynamic Osteopathy we specialise in promoting correct movement patterns to help your body return to function and perform at its best.

Hannah qualified from the European School of Osteopathy in 2002. Following a career break, she recently returned to practice and re-qualified, bringing valuable life experience alongside her clinical training. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

Hannah takes a thorough yet gentle approach to treatment, combining structural, movement-based techniques with functional methods that work with the body rather than against it. She has a particular interest in cranial osteopathy and integrates refined cranial techniques into her practice where appropriate, supporting the nervous system and encouraging the body’s inherent capacity for regulation and recovery. This enables her to work effectively with a wide range of musculoskeletal complaints, from postural strain and “tech-neck” to low back pain, frozen shoulder and associated mobility restrictions.

She has a particular interest in women’s health and wellbeing, providing considered and individualised care tailored to each stage of life. Committed to maintaining high professional standards, Hannah regularly undertakes further study and practical training to develop her clinical skills. Her approach centres on restoring balance and mobility, reducing pain, and supporting patients in returning confidently to their everyday activities.

Charles qualified with a Master’s in Osteopathy (M.Ost.) from Swansea University in 2022. That same year, he broadened his medical foundation by successfully completing the first year of medicine studies at Charles University’s 1st Medical Faculty in Prague. With a deeper knowledge of anatomy and physiology, Charles established his own osteopathic practice in the Czech capital, Prague.

He has worked with patients from diverse backgrounds, including desk-based professionals, amateur sportspeople, and professional athletes. Following further specialised training, he also collaborated with a dental clinic to support patients suffering from Temporo-Mandibular Joint (TMJ) disorders.

In his practice, Charles integrates both structural and functional approaches to holistically address the root causes of acute and chronic pain. This method promotes the restoration of mobility, balance, and long-term relief. Passionate about human anatomy, he prioritises patient education, ensuring individuals fully understand the nature of their condition and treatment plan. He aims to empower patients with the knowledge and tools needed to support recovery between sessions. Charles also recognises the psychological and emotional dimensions of pain and injury, considering them essential components of the healing process.

His passion for health began in the United States, where he shadowed surgeons and competed as a sprinter. He later returned to the UK for university, training for the BUCS championships throughout his Master’s degree. By connecting motion with medicine, Charles takes a goal-oriented approach, tailoring every treatment plan to the individual needs of his patients.
